Kathy Cleere, J.D., M.B.A., Attorney at Law

In 2001 Kathy joined the family law business as a Legal Assistant. She  graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in May 2009. She passed the Arizona State Bar in October 2009. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing, both from the University of Arizona.

Kathy worked for several years as a consultant with Oracle Corp., serving as a Project Manager designing customized databases and applications for the United States Air Force. She was also a software consultant for a health care company in the Chicago area managing internal projects.

In 1996, Kathy moved back to Tucson and opened her own company, the Great Harvest Bread Co. After several years, she sold her interest in the business and started her own consulting firm helping new and existing businesses. One of her consulting clients was her dad, Bob Cleere, owner of Cleere Law Offices. She assisted in opening and marketing the new Oro Valley law office when her parents moved from Phoenix to Oro Valley in 1999. She is now owner of Cleere Law Offices, P.C.  

Kevin Cleere, Senior Paralegal

Kevin, who is Bob and Jan's son, is an Arizona native who has been working with Cleere Law Offices, PC, since he learned to type at the age of 16. Kevin is currently the Senior Paralegal with the firm.  

He helped manage the Phoenix office following the firm's expansion to Oro Valley in 1999. In 2013, Kevin and his wife, Rebecca, moved to Tucson with their two children, Kristopher and Vivien. Becky works for Cigna.

Kevin earned his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. He held various positions with the State of Arizona in the Departments of Environmental Quality, Education, and Economic Security. In 1996, Kevin transitioned to production work as the Technical Director of Theater Works in Peoria, Arizona. After that, he advanced to the field of commercial and corporate video production with Video West-AZ, Greg Wolf Productions, LLC, Chamber Music West and the Phoenix Film Festival. In 2003, Kevin launched his own company, Cleere Enterprises, L.L.C.

  • Rachel Calovich

    CLIENT MANAGER

    Rachel has been with our team since 2015. She works closely with our clients to navigate the complexities of the Estate Planning process. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Northern Arizona University. She is a certified K-12 Educational Interpreter for American Sign Language. Her background includes interpreting American Sign Language, Education, Office Management and acting with a local theatre group, Stories that Soar! In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, hiking, theatre, ceramics and spending time with her husband, Brett, and their two dogs: Toffee & Nova.

  • Neil Pound

    CLIENT MANAGER

    Neil joined the Cleere Law Offices, PC, team in March 2021 as office assistant. He now works with Kevin, dealing with Trust Administration. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Public Management & Policy program. Born and raised in Oregon, he moved to Tucson five years ago. When not working, he spends time with his dog Mikey. Neil served two years in the US Army and four years in the Army National Guard, serving overseas in Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013.

  • Barb Carroll

    CLIENT MANAGER

    Barb joined Cleere Law Offices, P.C., in November 2023. With 30 years oF experience in customer service and operations management, she has built her career around helping people feel supported, understood, and confident in the decisions they make. Barb enjoys problem-solving and working one-on-one with clients. Born and raised in Tucson, Barb is married with one daughter. Outside of work, she is involved in fundraising for several non-profit organizations in the Tucson community. Barb loves to cook and entertain. She and her husband, Chris, collect cars and attend car shows and vintage races.

  • Sandy Growe

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Sandy joined the team at Cleere Law Offices in 2025 after moving from Salt Lake City to Tucson. Prior to moving to Arizona, Sandy held the position of Director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection for the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City and was employed as a legal assistant for law firms in the states of Washington and Minnesota. Her background includes over 25 years of experience utilizing her organizational and computer skills in the areas of Estate Planning, Environment Land Use, and Intellectual Property law. She is excited to provide administrative support to clients of Cleere Law Offices, PC. When not at the office, Sandy enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, traveling, golfing, hiking, art festivals, music venues, and spending time with her daughter.

  • Grace Duval

    CLIENT RELATIONS

    Grace joined our team in 2022. She enjoyed a fulfilling career in banking before retiring in 2018. Grace held several leadership positions which gave her the opportunity to develop successful teams, assist clients with financial solutions and meet many fascinating people. Delivering quality client service and utilizing marketing and business development skills are attributes that compliment Grace’s Client Relations role. In addition to working part time at the front desk, she also reviews sponsorship requests and coordinates educational estate planning seminars in Oro Valley and surrounding areas. Grace has two children and three grandchildren which she notes is her greatest accomplishment and source of encouragement.

  • Julia McDermott

    LEGAL ASSISTANT

    Julia joined the Cleere Law team in the fall of 2024. She brought with her a combination of experience in legal transcription and administrative assistance, and now she carries out document drafting and review as a legal assistant with Cleere Law Offices, P.C. Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. In 2014 she moved to Tucson from New York, where she was born and raised, after receiving her Associate’s degree in Psychology from Herkimer College. In her free time, Julia enjoys painting and printmaking, reading, writing, art house cinema, the Arizona Opera, and getting involved with the local Tucson art community.

  • Barbara Senftleber

    LEGAL ASSISTANT

    Barbara began working with the law firm in 2013 after retiring from a career in journalism. She now helps draft legal documents and manages the firm's website from her home in Atlanta. Barbara is the spouse of Bob and Jan's daughter, Sue Cleere. Barbara retired from Cox Media Group after years of editing and project management at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She also worked at the Miami Herald.
